The Southern Tasmanian Bowls Association (STBA) was formed in 1905. The Southern Tasmanian Women’s Bowls Association (STWBA) was formed in 1936 and merged with the STBA in 2005. The STBA began trading as Bowls Tasmania South (BTS) in 2005.
