Annual General Meeting (First notice)
THIS IS THE FIRST NOTICE OF AN ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING TO BE HELD AT 1.00pm ON SUNDAY 16 JUNE 2024 AT KINGBOROUGH BOWLS CLUB.
Attendance: Each member club of the Association is entitled to be represented by two voting delegates at the meeting. The names of delegates must be sent to the BTS Secretary by 10 June 2024. Individual bowls club members are welcome to attend and participate in discussion but are ineligible to vote.
Notice of Motion: Clubs wishing to discuss any matter(s) at the meeting are required to submit their motion/notice on the AGM 2024 – NOTICE OF MOTION FORM to the BTS Secretary by 24 May 2024.
General business: A member wishing to bring any business before the meeting must give notice in writing of that business to the BTS Secretary by 24 May 2024 so that business may be included in the second notice of the meeting. The constitution provides that no business other than that specified in the notice convening the meeting shall be transacted at the meeting.
Board of Management: Nominations are called for all positions on the BTS Board:
- President
- Deputy President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Executive Assistant
- Four (4) ordinary members.
Nominations must be submitted to the Secretary by 24 May 2024 on the AGM 2024 – NOMINATION FORM.
Other positions: Nominations are invited for the following positions which will be filled by the Board at the first meeting following the AGM:
- Match Committee (4-5 members)
- Statistician
- Web Administrator
- Social Media Administrator
