Approved dispensations 2023-24

Interstate Pennant Declarations

The following players from interstate have received approval to play in BTS Pennant sides:

  • Lee Schraner (Raymond Terrace, NSW).Β  Cleared to play for Dover RSL (approved 2 November).

Pennant dispensation

In accordance with condition 3.33(c) of Conditions of Play, the following dispensation requests have been approved:

Last 6 weeks and/or Finals

  • Jane Trott (Sorell) to play Ladies finals if/as required.
  • Sharon Wilkinson (Howrah) to play in Ladies Div 2 for round 17 only.
  • Gilbert Dillon (Glenorchy City) to play finals.
  • David Clifford (St John’s Park) to play in Midweek finals.
  • Kelvin Griffiths and Stan Hince (Glenorchy City) to play Wednesday finals.
  • Greg Cornish (Oatlands) to play in the Midweek Division 4 grand final.

Female subs for Midweek (Wednesday) games

The following women are approved to play as opposite gender substitutes as described:

Championship dispensations

In accordance with condition 2.4 (b) (iii) of Conditions of Play, the following status rulings have been made:

  • Jo-anne Leslie (Brighton). Eligible to enter either A or B Grade Ladies Singles Championship.
  • Tim Morgan (New Norfolk), Cameron Monks (Rosny Park) andΒ Rickie Monks (New Norfolk), following enquiry, are cleared to enter the Men’s B Grade Championship.

Uniform dispensations

In accordance with condition 1.10(d) of Conditions of Play, the following uniform dispensation requests have been approved:

  • Anna Hailes (Taroona) is approved to wear non-uniform trousers until she obtains royal blue uniform trousers.
  • Di Francis (Howrah) may wear blue pants without a BA logo until she can source suitable BA Logo uniform “lower wear” in her size.
  • Gloria PaulkΒ is approved to wear orthodepic sandles covered by a medical certificate that she will present on demand.
  • Leanne Clark (Orford) is approved to wear green (non-bowls) lower wear until trousers can be obtained.
  • Mike Haas (Royal Hobart) is approved to wear navy blue shorts until our club is able to source BA-logo shorts in our club colours.
  • Club Beltana: New bowlers are approved to wear black bowls shorts until new stocks arrives.
  • Franklin: A couple of bowlers can wear old Franklin bowls shirts until new ones arrive.
  • Geeveston: Approval is granted to use old shirts while we wait on the arrival of new shirts as the only difference is the name on the back of the shirts.
  • Rosny Park: New bowlers may wear BA-logo tops (if Rosny tops are not available) and suitable pants (that do not have to be green) until uniform stocks arrive.
