The Howrah Bowls Club have been running School Coaching Sessions with Schools and Colleges over the past 6 months at the Indoor Bowls Centre.
We have had over 700 students and teachers attend to date and a further 175 students booked in for sessions in September and October.
The Coaching Sessions have been very successful with both student and teachers, thanks to our dedicated Team of 11 Coaches and 8 Club members volunteering their time to help with the sessions.
Our Coaches have Working with Vulnerable People Cards and wear High Visibility vests with Coach written on the Back when they are Coaching.
The Club also ran a School Holiday Program over the July school holidays, with over 30 students aged from 7 to 14 years participating.
This was the first time the Club has run a Schools Holiday Program at the Indoor Centre.
From all reports it was a fun event and enjoyed by everyone involved.
The Club is running the School Holiday Program in the October Holidays from 11am to 12.30pm on
Wednesday the 4th & 11th October.
