Annual General Meeting 2023 (1st notice)
FIRST NOTICE OF AN ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
TO BE HELD AT 2.00pm ON SUNDAY 28 MAY 2023
AT GLENORCHY RODMAN BOWLS CLUB
Attendance: Each member club of the Association is entitled to be represented by two voting delegates at the meeting. Other bowls club members are welcome to attend and participate in discussion but are ineligible to vote.
Notice of Motion: Clubs wishing to submit a NOTICE OF MOTION to be considered at the meeting are required to submit the notice to the Secretary by 5 May 2023.
General business: A member wishing to bring any business before the meeting must give notice in writing of that business to the Secretary by 12 May 2023 so that that business may be included in the second notice of the meeting. The constitution provides that no business other than that specified in the notice convening the meeting shall be transacted at the meeting.
Board of Management: Nominations are called for the Association’s Office Bearers (President, Deputy President, Secretary, Executive Assistant, and Treasurer) and four ordinary members of the Board of Management. Nominations must be submitted to the Secretary by 12 May 2023 on the NOMINATION FORM.
Other positions: Applications are invited for the following positions which will be filled by the Board at the first meeting following the AGM:
- Chair of Match Committee, plus 3 members of the Match Committee
- Members of Men’s, Women’s and Junior’s Selection Committees
- Statistician
- Social Media Administrator
