The following advice, provided to individual club enquires, is repeated here for the information of all clubs.
The BTS Match Committee has no say or power over pennant games in inclement weather before commencement of play.
BTS Conditions of Play 3.11 says that a decision against commencement of play must not be made prior to two hours before the scheduled start of play, but it does not say it has to be made at the two hour mark.
When there is inclement weather clubs are still expected to travel to the venue for play. It is in these circumstances that, when there is a long distance to travel, it can be impossible to let the away club know before they leave.
