1. Assist in the preparation of Conditions of Play.
2. Assist in the preparation of rosters.
3. Schedule all BTS events including closing dates.
4. Provide rulings and dispensations for Pennant players.
5. Provide rulings on disputes arising from the application of Conditions of Play in BTS matches, and the conveying of such rulings to the Clubs / players the decision affects.
6. Allocation of venues for Pennant finals in consultation with the BTS Greens Advisory Committee and Clubs.
7. Run BTS Championships:
   – Organise Match Committee meeting after close of entries.
   – Conduct draw.
   – Allocation of venues.
   – Provide information to host Clubs.
   – Provide results to Publicity Officer and Webmaster.
8. Liaise with the BTS Officiating Panel for the appointment of officials (i.e. umpires and, where appropriate, markers) for finals of BTS Championship events, and for Pennant Grand Final events.
9. Chair of Committee is a member of and is required to attend BTS Board meetings.
10. Represent BTS at Bowls Tasmania Events Committee meetings.
