BTS 2019-20 Championships Prize Monies
As previously advised Bowls Tasmania South has decided not to conduct an Annual Presentation Function this season due to the restrictions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
In view of this decision the BTS Board has decided to distribute won by players in BTS championship competitions in the 2019-20 season through their respective clubs. We offered to distribute direct to the players but only a few were aware of, or took up, that option leaving many of the winners unpaid.
The BTS Treasurer has now forwarded this to Clubs and they have been asked to distribute the cash prizes to the winners on behalf of BTS either at a club function or meeting acknowledging the achievements of the members or just directly to the member whatever is most convenient.
Championship medallions will be forwarded to Clubs this week as well. BTS will forward perpetual trophies to winners when they have received all the trophies back from last year’s winners and have had them appropriately engraved.
