Welcome to the official website of Bowls Tasmania South.  The Southern Tasmanian Bowls Association (STBA) was formed in 1905 and is the controlling body of lawn bowls in Southern Tasmania.

Twenty-eight of Tasmania’s seventy-two lawn bowls clubs are affiliated with STBA which now trades as Bowls Tasmania South (BTS).   Slightly more than forty percent of the State’s lawn bowlers belong to Southern clubs.

Since 2005 Bowls Tasmania South has been a unified body representing both male and female lawn bowlers and almost all constituent clubs have now unified their administrations.

Bowls Tasmania South is affiliated with Bowls Tasmania along with the Northern Tasmanian and North-Western Associations.
